Academic Curriculum Overview
Below is an overview of our academic curriculums.
Early Childhood (Pre-K3 – Kindergarten)
The early childhood program at CAC is built on the belief that each child is a wonderfully unique creation of God. Our goal is to partner with each child’s family to fulfill their responsibility to lay the foundation for a purpose-driven life of service to God and others.

Before and after school care is available for students in grades pre-K 3 through 5.
Elementary (Grades 1 – 5)
CAC elementary teachers and staff understand our students are in a very important stage of social and emotional development. Building self-confidence while maintaining an enthusiasm for learning is key, and our teachers and staff have the tools, experience and passion to help students navigate and thrive during these critical developmental stages.

Before and after school care is available for students in grades Pre-K 3 through 5.
Middle School (Grades 6 – 8)
Our middle school is rooted in a Christ-centered view of life, allowing students the opportunity to understand themselves and the world around them from a biblical perspective. Our curriculum is meant to be both academically challenging and spiritually encouraging, where students can grow, fellowship and be strengthened.
Program Key Points:
- Challenging academics
- Focus on developing a deeper relationship with God
- Bible courses, which set the framework for every other subject
- English classes focusing on grammar, mechanics and usage (the critical elements of writing), along with a continued use of literature to promote comprehension and critical thinking
- Additional Language Arts period
- Transition from Saxon math to pre-algebra and algebra
- Macmillan/McGraw-Hill Integrated Science textbooks
- Regular Spanish instruction and physical education classes
- Vocal or instrumental music programs
- Keyboarding and computer application classes
- Visual and dramatic arts
High School (Grades 9 – 12)
We offer an educational experience that is both challenging and inspiring to better prepare students for the responsibilities and independence of college. We also encourage them to be loving, self-confident individuals who use their knowledge and talents to give glory to God and to serve others.
Program Key Points:
- Emphasis on core subjects of math, English, science and history
- Bible courses covering Old and New Testament surveys and the Life of Christ
- Standard college preparatory course of study with available Pre-Advanced Placement & A.P. classes
- ACT/SAT preparatory classes
- Spanish
- Electives including choir, band, art, drama, physical education, science, mathematics and others
- Electives including choir, band, art, drama, physical education, science, mathematics, computer programming, web design and others
- Dual-credit courses in College Physical Science, College Algebra, College Music Appreciation and College Speech (Combined with A.P. credits, many of our students enter college with a full semester of college credit)
