ATHLETICS

Welcome to

CAC Athletics

We are proud to provide Central Arkansas Christian students with the opportunity to participate in multiple athletic endeavors at the elementary, middle school and high school level. From football to bowling, to archery and volleyball, our Athletic Program continues to grow in size and variety each year.

The CAC Athletic Department, coaches and trainers use Christ-like approaches to instill the importance of teamwork, discipline, humbleness and the willingness to be challenged in our athletes during practices, as well as encouraging them in classrooms and chapel services each day.  CAC coaches are all experienced in and passionate about their fields, but like all of our staff at CAC, wins and awards are less important than the students’ spiritual growth.

COVID-19 Impact on Sports

The safety of our students and staff remains a priority. The CAC administration continues to monitor guidelines related to extracurricular activities. Additional mitigation strategies (disinfecting, mask usage, social distancing) have been implemented in all our facilities to protect our students and staff.

Please review our COVID-19 guidelines below. The administration will continue to monitor the guidance from the state and make any adjustments we deem necessary. Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility!

COVID-19 guidelines for athletic events

Steps CAC is taking to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 at our venues:

  1. Installed air purifiers in all indoor areas including the gyms, atrium and locker rooms. These purifiers are tested and rated to reduce airborne pathogens, such as COVID-19
  2. Regular disinfection of high touch surface
  3. Open all available seating areas to promote social distance between household units.
  4. Provide a section marked with 6-foot distanced seating for immune compromised individuals or those uncomfortable sitting in the bleachers without distanced markers.

The subscription covers all events and teams’ broadcasts on our school network. You can sign up for a subscription here.
