Important Information
Test Review Period
During the Test Review Period teachers should be available to assist students as they prepare for an exam. All students must email teachers to schedule appointments to allow for socially distanced environments.
Early Test Administration
Tests may not be administered early. A make-up testing day will be scheduled over the Summer break, and students who miss a test will be notified.
After-School Care
After-school care will be available Tuesday through Thursday. There will be no after-school care offered on Friday, May 27. After-school care will begin at noon Tuesday-Thursday.
Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus will run as normal in the mornings and will depart from the secondary campus at the times listed below in the afternoons;
- Tuesday — Thursday: 2:50 p.m. departure
- Friday — 11:50 p.m. departure
Student Arrival and Dismissal
- Students who do not have a test at 8:00 a.m. will be encouraged to arrive at school between 9:45 and 10 a.m. for the second testing slot.
- If a student’s tests are completed for the day after the first testing slot (8:00-9:30 a.m.) the student may check out with a parent note at the end of the testing period.
- Students will not be allowed to check out during a testing period, even if they have completed their test.
- Students who leave at 11:30 a.m. (after the second testing period) will be able to dismiss as usual without the need for a parent note.
Any students who arrive for a class where there is not a final exam (ex. some fine arts classes, p.e, etc.) the student can still go to their class as usual and will use the time as a study hall. Teachers have to be present for their allotted class periods, in their allotted locations even if there is not a final exam.
Student Absences
- Students absent for any test during semester test week will need to do a make-up exam, either later in the week or over the summer break (preferably later in the week so we can wrap the semester).
- A blank exam and key will need to be brought to the office prior to the break so the student can make up their exam with administration.
- If the exam is in digital form, please leave instructions with Rachael Sargent in the office.
- The teacher will be responsible for making sure the office is aware of any student absences and exams that need to be completed.
